World Class Contenders
Don’t be surprised if the next rising star, the next Andre Agassi is serving it up right before your eyes. The $15,000 RWI Men’s Pro Tournament features some of the best young talent in the world. Consider the tournament’s dynamic contender last summer: Kevin Anderson. Anderson, of South Africa, challenged 2007 tournament winner Scoville Jenkins in the finals. This past spring, Anderson stunned the tennis world and the #3 player in the world, Novak Diokovic (2008 Australian Open Champion), by beating him 7-6,3-6,6-4 in Miami at the Sony Ericsson Open. This is the caliber of tennis we can expect in Loomis!
Community Tennis
In addition to incredible players, the tournament committee is pleased to offer a week of exciting ‘community tennis.’ Bring the entire family for a Night Match beginning at 5:30 p.m. Also, you won’t want to miss the Singles/Doubles quarterfinals beginning on Friday, June 13, continuing through Sunday, June 15.
